Holi Festival

This event took place on March 23. It is actually a Hindu tradition...which thousands of Mormons attend every year at the Spanish Fork Hindu Temple. In fact, it is the largest festival of colors in the western hemisphere. Quite the event!

We roommates stuffed into a car driven by the kind Alan Hickey, and we headed out for the party. It involved lots of walking, waiting in line, and finally, lots of colors! Colored chalk, that is....which was used for throwing at your friends and random people you have never seen before.

I think life should be this happy and colorful...and maybe it is. Maybe we just need to change our perspective and see everything in this bright way :)
